Altair 3.5nm vs Antlia ALP-T 3nm Dual Band Filters…?

I’m putting together a mobile imaging rig and have been looking closely at dual band NB filters. Bottom line, I want to get something that I’ll be happy with perpetually, so I’m not afraid to invest a little upfront.

From what I can see (although please correct me if I’m missing something…), it seems like the two top-tier performers for dual band Ha+OIII and OIII+SII filters are the 3nm Antlia ALP-T and the Altair 3.5nm dual band filter sets. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a great deal of actual head-to-head usage comparisons out there with extensive, conclusive data, and am wondering if anyone here can weigh in based on personal experience with either brand? Especially if anyone has experience with both…?

One thing I’m particularly concerned about are halos, but am also very interested in overall performance, contrast, etc. The price point on both sets is nearly the same, so perhaps more than anything, am wondering if there’s anything specs/performance-wise to separate the Antlias from the Altairs in terms of real-world use scenarios?

Thanks very much in advance for all of your time and wisdom, I really appreciate it.

I am not terribly impressed by the quality of their products (I have 3 of their cameras) and I wouldn’t even think twice before going for the Antlias. I have one of these but in the 5nm incarnation and as long as your camera has no IR leaks in the window’s coatings then you have nothing to fear from halos. They aren’t there at all, even at f/2.8.

I had both the Altair dual-band filters when I had an OSC, I actually really liked them, I didn’t have any star halos. I have SHO Antlia 3nm filters now, occasionally I will get some halos. I’m happy with them though, they do the job well. The Altairs each came with a bandpass chart.

It is hard for me to same much about quality or do much more to compare… OSC vs Mono overwhelms everything else. But I wasn’t unhappy with them.
