Is the Samyang 14mm f/2.8 ED compatible with the UMC first wide-angle lens?

Hi. I'm new to astrophotography. I had a 600D camera, but I traded it for a 6D. I currently have a Yongnuo 50mm lens, but I've realized it's getting a bit too narrow. I've heard about the Samyang 14mm f/2.8 ED ASIF UMC lens, which fits my budget. What are your recommendations?

Nearly any decent lens will work, it is just a matter how stopped down it needs to be in order to deliver a nice picture with round stars to the edge of the frame.
