Hello,

I've been a few compatibility issues with my QHY268m. I can be wrong, but it seams to me that it's not compatible with all of USB chipset.

Does any one use one with a mini PC ? If so, can you please tell me the brand and model of it ?

Thank you

I’ve ran my 268M on multiple J4125s, N5105, and the Mele 4C without any issues.

I will admit sometimes the USB driver install is not intuitive when you use the All in One pack.

I use a QHY268M with a MELE quieter 3Q mini pc, I had trouble setting the camera up as the USB ports on the pc are not identical. After a lot of frustration I simply moved the cable to another port and everything worked! The port is the one on the rhs and at the front.

I have a 4C and it has two USB 3 ports with blue tabs and one USB 2 port with a black tab. I always make sure that my main and guide camera always use the higher data rate ports. I don’t know if yours is set up the same way but it’s worth checking.

Thank you all for the answers.

I was looking for a Palmshell slim X4L (much much cheaper, better specs), but i see that the MeLE it's the most used.

Regarding QHY268m, i already have two PCs with incompatibilites with this camera, but as they were Desktops, i could install a PCI expansion board and solve the problem. With mini PCs it's more dificult.

Thanks once more.

I cannot wrap my head around the what or why you had to install an expansion board to operate a ‘Universal Serial Bus’ device. The key word here is Universal. USB’s been around for decades. I can only see this being an issue if your computer is extremely old, 2000s era. I strongly feel like you must have missed something during the install.
