Only able to Connect to Stellavita V2.0.6/2.0.15 with iPad

I just purchased a Stellavita and have one session under my belt. I just downloaded the latest App version 2.0.6 and firmware version 2.0.15. These introduce the Live Stacking feature.

I use an iPad to connect to the Stellavita. I have a M3 MacBook Pro. Apple silicon based desktops and laptops can run IOS Apps. I use my MacBook Pro to run my ASIAir. Here is the problem. While I can connect to my Stellavita with my iPad fine using either the Stellavita hotspot or setting up wireless bridge to my home Starlink network, the MacBook Pro will not connect. I’ll connect to the Stellavita hotspot “ Stellavita_A59XXX” and open the Stellevita App but it will not connect. Same thing happens with my iPhone 16. Same issue when using Wireless Bridge to my home Starlink network. Only the iPad connects. I’ll make sure the iPad is not on the Stellavita Hotspot when I try to connect with either my iPhone or MacBook Pro.

I’m wondering if the Stellavita is blocking via MAC address.

I’m positive I could connect with my MacBook Pro prior to this release.

I’m thinking of trying the reset button but I’m not sure what the procedure is to reset the Stellavita. Why doesn’t Touptek write some documentation?

I doubt it's MAC address filtering. If Stellavita was locking onto the initial device's MAC address, your iPhone would most likely work after detaching the iPad, or there would be documentation referencing device pairing. Most astronomy controllers do not provide MAC filtering by default.
