Hi,
I’ve seen around the web cylindrical projections of Mars and Jupiter that look like maps and Mercator projections. I want to try to make one myself out of some of my full and nearly full Moon images. Can anyone recommend good free software to produce those kinds of images? I use all three major operating systems, but I would prefer to use a Linux version. I know panoramic software can produce such images, but I am looking to covert a disc view into a map view to label.
