Thought I might contribute this to the stack of experimental colour palettes. I feel the inverted colour helps add some depth to the image — the dark parts of many nebulae always seem flat because they’re usually black or very dark grey compared to the vivid embroidery of the rest of the subjects.
Or maybe I’m just crazy and this looks too artificial or not how nebulae should be presented.
