The documentary takes you into the fascinating and sometimes surprising world of astrophotography. With humor and genuine curiosity, you meet both seasoned experts and passionate newcomers from around the globe. The story is guided by Dr. Steven Swancoat, who also shares his own experiences, especially in New York—leading to a number of memorable and at times hilarious moments, including an encounter with the NYPD.
I truly enjoyed watching this film and would highly recommend it to anyone who is curious about this unique world.
For me, it was extra special. One of the astrophotographers Steve interviews is my son, Ingmar. Seeing him featured in the film—and even attending the worldwide premiere in Belgium—made this experience incredibly meaningful and something I’m very proud of.
