canon eos 1300d/t6 and canon ef 75-300 lens is good for amateur astrophotograpy?

Anything optical can be made to work. Not the best combo though either for optics or for the camera. A fast prime should be a better option.

If you can get one a Samyang 135mm lens is great for astrophotography.  

Well tried and tested. Just make sure to buy one with a Canon EOS bayonet.

It is good enough. Check the Nebula Photos and Delta Astrophotography YouTube Channel. They both have many videos for beginners with that type of equipment.
