Hi

I am currently having issues with my ASI533MC Pro camera.  I can cool the camera (-15C), focus and  plate-solve but I cannot download my images.  I use NINA (latest updates) for image acquisition. The following two error messages pop up:

1- Error camera download failed
  exposure time: 10 s
  Type: snapshot
  Gain: -1

2- Error retrieving image data from camera

My actual exposure time is 300 s and the gain is set at 101.

I have changed my USB cables and I am still having the same problem.

Note also that when I turn on NINA, the following warning pops up:

- ASCOM platform version is outdated. Please update to the latest version.  Otherwise the application might not be able to connect to all ASCOM devices.

I checked my ASCOM version and I am using the most recent version.

I am based in Montreal so the current temperature will normally be -5C to -15C. Could the problem be due to the cold temperatures?

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks,
François

I'm a bit of a newbie, but just wondering if there is any chance you can try a different imaging platform to see if it is a NINA issue?

(I use my 533 with ASIAir & have tested it with Astroberry/Indilib & Ekos)

*** Check the full path you have for saving images, for weird characters (anything not english) and spaces/special characters. As a test change it to something simple such as "c:\AP". Hope that helps ***
