I’m taking a close look at this new super-fast OTA by Sharpstar, the SCA310, the big, fast brother of the SCA260.
From what I’ve read so far, it seems to offer several advantages over similar-aperture Newtonians:
Compact design
Wide backfocus range
Corrected, flat field
Has anyone had the chance to test it yet? I’m really excited to hopefully try it soon. My previous experience with the brand has been excellent. I currently own an FRA300 and a 13028HNT—both great OTAs.
Many thanks for your insights.
Best wishes,
