Hello :)

so far i don't have a proper telescope for the sun so i don't know exactly what lens i will go to use, i have different option but with different diameter.

i would like to buy that paper:

https://www.astroshop.it/pellicole-occhiali/baader-filtro-solare-in-foglio-astrosolarr-eco-size-od-5-0-140x155mm/p,54593

it's wide 140mm * 155mm, i would like to keep as it is without any crop, but is there any solution that could let me put that in front of the lens i will decide to use ?

I thought of filter holders for plate filters but I don't know if there are any of this same size. probably ND filter have smaller size as i can see here:

Hi,

I recommend to visit SolarChatForum https://solarchatforum.com

It is the best Solar Chat forum with a lot of experts

Normally for that solar film most user built a custom support

I’ve used solar film like that before on a camera lens and here was the best way I found to use it. You will need that film, a step up ring, and a UV filter. If your camera lens has say a 67mm diameter, then get something like a 67 to 77mm step up ring and a 77mm UV filter. Then measure and cut the solar film to fit just inside the 77mm UV filter. Attach the UV filter to the step up ring sandwhiching the solar film in between. Then you can attach the whole assembly to your lens.

That has worked extremely well for me in the past and makes an easy to remove solar filter. Plus, you can usually store it in whatever case the UV filter came in.

You just need to make yourself a cardboard holder that fits the diameter of whatever you are going to use it with. I have several, ranging from 170 mm in diameter to 50 mm. You need nothing else.

Unfortunately I don't. I haven’t used one in some time now. I have a Lunt now that I use for solar work.
