Hello,

I have the following camera systems that cover 3 scopes and 2 mounts.

————————

Camera 1 system:

2600mc Pro

ZWO EFW

Antlia ALP-T 3nm HaO3 Filter

Antlia ALP-T 3nm S2O3 Filter

L-Quad

————

Camera 2 System

2600mm Pro

ZWO EFW

Antlia LRGB + 3nm SHO Filters

My 2600MC Pro is playing up and will need replacement or repair and so I want to add some Ha data to the HaO3 and S2O3 filters from my mono camera setup.

My Question is… that I if I swop around imaging trains to get the final bit of Ha I want….what would be the best way to combine the data from the HaO3 and S2O3 Multiband filters with the mono Ha, I would of used DBXtract for the two multi band filters in pixinsight if I could of continued the final night of HaO3 multi band.. that may still be the case for one part but I still need to add in the mono Ha. FYI Currently I have 19hrs of S2O3 and 9.5hrs of HaO3 multiband filter data.

Many Thanks

Combine Ha from Mono with the Ha extracted from the DB filter.

Hello Pele,

I have two rigs, one with a 2600 OSC and another one with a 2600 Mono, so I’m quite used to working like that. My recommendation is extract the H-alpha using DBxtract, align it with your mono Ha, then use FastIntegration in Pixinsight. This will analyze each image and use weights. You can prioritize SNR or Resolution and this gives the best integration from my experience.
