I just completed processing the Heart and Soul nebulas in Pixinsight using Bill Blanshan’s SHO Colorization scriptlet. The pallet is an SHO using the S+HOO option.

60 hrs of integration time with OSC and dual nb filters.

RGB stars were added using Bill’s RGB to NB scriptlet.

I may add more NB data in the future.

Interested in constructive feedback.

That’s a great result. I’m curious, what are you expecting more NB data to show?

Lots to like about your image. Colors, composition, detail. Well done.

If it was my image I might bump it up a little in curves to give the nebula a little more pop. With 60 hours of data I suspect you can push it safely.

I think this is a great image with lots of detail and plenty of little nuggets. For my taste, the background is too dark. I bet there is a lot more signal hidden in the depths there. I also think it lacks a bit of color variety for my taste. I think the Sii could be brought up a bit to show the golden tones you often see. Have you tried narrowband normalization to see what the SHO looks like there? I also like that it is well saturated but not overdone so you still see the details.

Again, these are all personal opinions and what really matters is how you like it.
