Seestar S50 EQ mount advice: ZWO TH10 vs MSM wedge options

I am looking to purchase a Seestar S50 and was hoping for some EQ mount advice. I have read some different opinions and have two questions that I’d like to explore:

[1] Would I be better off using the ZWO TH10 Fluid Tripod Head or something like the MSM Wedge .

[2] I’ve also read that some people feel that a levelling base attachment is very helpful and yet others think it is a waste of time and money. Any thoughts? (eg https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0BS5TQ5YW/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&th=1)

Thanks in advance.

I have the same leveling base that you linked to, and I find it very useful. I can level the SeeStar in seconds, so it’s worth it to me.

I’ve not yet used an EQ mount with the S50, but I just received the TH10. Having just opened the box, it looks very study and robust. Looking forward to using it on the next clear night!

I use the leveling base on my Seestar scopes when in Alt/Az mode only.

In EQ mode I chose the Sky Watcher wedge which is similar to the MSM.

They appear easier to control the altitude adjustment over the TH10 (but I could be wrong).
