NINA is not recording exposure info, not adding target name to file, not running any triggers such as AF after HFR increase, not running AF after filter change, not setting last filter on autofocus, not flipping at meridian. 1st time I’ve encountered this. Anyone seen this?

Short answer: no.

To realistically get help, you need to provide a NINA log file, and best place is Discord, though if you put it here a few people might be able to help.

When you provide the log, knowing at what time the issues started is helpful. As a general rule it is best to concentrate on the first error.

It is possible to inadvertently run a version of NINA that is not configured with your presets.

Hi Dave,

Have you run any updates lately?

I recently had to go through a bunch of malarky with several of my Apps to run my equipment. It may sound harsh, but when I get a multi-failure like that often the quickest fix is to remove, then reinstall the offending program. I did that with NINA recently.

And everything came back hunky-dory. Drastic - yes. Fixed - yes

I’ve gotten to where I just hate updates! They’re so buggy.

And Windows updates treat our open-source programs like they are targets at a shooting gallery, blowing holes in the drivers.

I haven’t updated recently and I’ve run several sessions without a hitch since I did update.

Not sure, but it connected everything with one click connect. I look and it is running my configuration.

So Marc and Linwood on the NINA forum figured it out. I had mistakenly put my Smart Exposures outside of ‘Instructions’ in the sequencer.

Yeah…. I sent you there because smarter people are there (Isbeorn wrote NINA, Marc wrote powerups), but also you can just drag and drop log files, focus runs, sequences, etc. there.

I’m not a huge fan of discord, but it’s definitely the place to go for NINA help.
