Hello everyone. A few days ago, I tried a product called NovaStudio, available on the Syqon.it website. The software presents itself as a new, AI-powered approach to astronomical image processing — aiming to offer a simple, fast, and effective workflow.

After carrying out some tests, I decided not to continue using it. While the concept is interesting, the current implementation still feels a bit immature. Tasks such as stacking and processing appeared slower and less refined than I expected, especially when compared to more established alternatives. Considering the price, I personally feel it may not yet offer the value one would hope for. I also found support somewhat limited.

That said, I'm curious to know whether others have tried it. What has your experience been with NovaStudio so far?

Thanks for your attention.
Giancarlo.

I had a look through the features and I didn’t see anything that isn’t already done in Siril or any other established processing package. I suspect that it will appeal more to photographers doing an occasional Milkyway shot or beginners who want to avoid the learning curve.
