In the last few days I found that the images acquired by the Altair A26C (a rebrand of the Touptek equivalent IMX571C-based camera) is starting to show significant and variable horizontal banding and I'm wondering whether the good people of AB may have encountered the same problem and what solution there might be, if any. To be perfectly blunt  this isn't a good omen as another camera from the same supplier started showing the same issue and eventually died on me (after the warranty had elapsed, obviously!). As I have left little over a month before the warranty on this one goes as well this is a matter of some urgency as I must press my case with them (Altair Astro UK) to take it in and have it replaced.

Just to pre-empt the obvious and less obvious solutions, I have changed cables (with new ones), source of power, location (indoor and outdoor) and computer as well switching between HCG and LCG modes. Nothing availed.
