Do any of my fellow Celestron Origin users have any filter recommendations? I have the Celestron Nebula filter but I am wondering if there are any other filters I should consider. Any information is appreciated!

Erny, depends on what you’re wanting to accomplish. To replace the nebula filter? The Antlia Triband and Optilong L-Extreme perform essentially the same with slight difference in their narrowband passage. The filter I’ve added is the Optilong UV/IR Cut for me I like it on galaxies and faint reflection nebulae. Other options are either the Askar C1/C2 or D1/D2 Askar's newly launched Colour Magic C 2" Duo-band filter is a professional astrophotography tool specifically designed for deep-sky imaging. We name the Hα+OⅢ Duo-band filter “C1”, and the SⅡ+OⅢ as “C2”, so their combination is the Colour Magic C 2" Duo-band filter package. I’ve noticed a few people in Origin facebook groups that have used them. But I haven’t. I’ll ask a friend who has used many of these and what he prefers. Good luck, and clear skies!

Hi Bob, thank you do much for the information! I had my eye on the Optilong L-Extreme but came to the same conclusion- it seems to do the same thing as I already have.

I’m definitely going to look into the Colour Magic options- thanks again!

FYI:  What ever filter you shop for it has to be designed for the F2.2 RASA optics or it may not work.     The narrower the filter bandpass the more careful
you have to be.
