Canon M50 astrophotography software recommendations for Mac without shutter port

I wanted to buy an intervalometer, but I just realized my Canon M50 camera does not have a shutter port. I know there are tons of softwares in which you can control the camera wirelessly. However, most of these don't support large numbers of photos to be taken continuously, or shutter speeds over 30 secs. I would prefer a software in which I do not have to be continuously pressing the shutter button through the whole photographing session.

Currently, I only have a mac, so I can not download a lot of AP softwares such as NINA. Anyway, I’m curious, would NINA work even though I do not have a shutter port on my DSLR? It only has micro USB.

I saw an app called intervalometer for canon and it works great, has everything I need. However, prices are $99/month and $299 for lifetime (for ios). Not reasonable at all for me. I would appreciate any tips, or recommendations you have!
