About halos no idea. Need to take an image of the Horse head nebula as the star Alnitak ias a PITA in that area 🤣
quote”(…no gap between G and R)”, yes, I was wondering about that but I guess as Sodium lamps are getting history we have no more light pollution in that yellow area. Now the PITA of the new light pollution is the strong blue light emission.
I am a bit surprised by those straight lines as well as the nearly linear transmission and compared the curves in PixInsight. 🤔
I took a spectrum of this during a cloudy night and it looks like this

and below a comparison between Sodium and LED light pollution, not a good one, but you can see it clearly to where the LEDs went
