I have a new job!

I am going to run the planetarium for the Observatory Science Centre based at Herstmonceux (where the Royal Greenwich Obseravtory was based from 1957)

They offered me the same job last year but I couldn't afford to take it (part time, not very well paid) so I spent a year in teacher training and this year they advertised again and now I can afford to take it.

I'll be one of only two people I know from my degree who is actually doing something to do with their degree!

I have a BS in Psychology, spent 30 years in the Army Special Forces, retired from County Sheriff, and guess where I finally ended up?  Supervisor of the Large Optics Fabrication Lab at Steward Observatory.  I envy you for being able to use what you learned to make your living; you are one in a million !! smile

I might be like you one day hopefully! Currently I am working a student job at the Tycho Brahe Planetarium in Copenhagen. Congrats on the job man
