What is/are the most accurate wether apps. i had rain last nite and none of the weather apps I use seem to have been aware. Is there one thats stands above the rest?

Do the commercially available personal wether stations do a better job?

Thanks.

Get a cloud sensor.

Try the Meteoblue website: https://www.meteoblue.com/

While it offers an astronomy seeing forecast (under “Outdoors & Sports”), I find their “Meteograms, Multimodel and Multimodel Ensemble” products (under “Forecasts”) invaluable. And there you realize how uncertain weather prediction is 😊

I have been testing the Rain Alarm app on my Android phone and it has been working quite well. I have a Cloud sensor and an RG11 rain sensor which manage my observatory roof, but I wanted something for when I travel. Rain Alarm seems to be a candidate.

I use Rain Alarm for alerts, but Windy is better for seeing what’s going on around you at different scales, I think. Both rain and clouds.
