🌌 Rare Neptune Observation β€” 4 September 2025 (New Delhi, India)

On the night of 4th September 2025, I successfully captured Neptune, along with the nearby TYC 4663-378 star (magnitude ~10.8) and Saturn.

This observation was verified by Roger Venable (ALPO Research Team) and has been officially archived in the ALPO 2025–2026 Remote Planets report.

Capturing Neptune through a 130mm Newtonian telescope from New Delhi’s bright skies was a challenging yet rewarding experience. The faint blue disk of Neptune was just visible near the 10.8 mag field star, confirming the planet’s identification.
