Hello everyone - I am an intermdiate in astrophoto - but an oldie in astronomi. Astronomi has played a large role for me since my early school years - my father bought my first telescope for me in my early teenage years. It was a Polarex 900mm refracter . powerfull enough to display thee rings of Saturn.

For the past 5 years I have tried to take pictures using my Celestron Advanced VX setup - mostly used with commom DSLR lenses, but also using my 8" SCT.

Being able to see "the unseen" has boosted my interest in astronomi … I am trying to spend as many of the non-moon lit clear skies hours (and that aint many :-) along with my gear - and constantly improving my skills.

Clear skies all :-)

Welcome (välkommen) to Astrobin!

I can fully relate to your struggle to get clear skies in this part of the world. I’m trying to find clear nights in southern Sweden.

I hope you will enjoy the community.
