Hi,

I am new to the QHY cameras. Currently using a QHY600 with Mele 2q mini PC. I installed the all in one drivers which seems to work.
But after every session, I turn off my PC. When I start next session, the device is no longer recognized and I have to re install the drivers.

This is frustrating.

Do anyone know what could be causing this? and is there a remedy for this?

Hi Deepan,

Make sure the camera usb connection to your pc is disabled before installing the drivers. I also leave the camera power off. If you haven’t done this, uninstall all the drivers, leave the camera power off, then reinstall, reboot the pc , connect the camera usb and turn the camera power on. If this doesn’t help or if you already did this, I would email cha@qhyccd.com. He is very helpful and will typically respond within a day or so.

HTH

I had a similar issue — though I didn’t have to reinstall drivers, I just had to unplug + replug the USB going to the camera. I'm not sure what specifically resolved the issue, but it disappeared after I performed a fresh Windows install.

Something to help diagnose: When you freshly reboot your computer and the QHY600 isn’t recognized, does it show up in USB Tree View?
