Has anyone been able to install Set Astro Pro Suite with GPU acceleration. I’m on an NVidia 4070 system and the Install/Update GPU Acceleration gets partially through and then complains about file locks.
Seti Astro Pro Suite installation troubles
This is one error I’ve been getting.
❌ Another install is running (lock: C:\Users\seanb\AppData\Local\SASpro\runtime\py313\.install.lock)
I also found the info topic that comes up has commands that are in py312 directory instead of py313.
I can load and run SAS, never been a problem but I too haven’t been able to get the GPU acceleration working. It get’s part way through and freezes or pops a file not found error.
Seti Astro maintain a Discord server (link on their website) - i’d post there for support.

Interesting, what version of CUDA are you using? I wonder if Seti Astro Pro is like RC-Astro in that GPU acceleration only works with 11.8x.

I had the same issue. Only thing that worked for me was to check out the python source and run it directly.
