Hello, I'm Jeremy from New Brunswick, Canada. Just recently purchased a telescope and am starting to do some viewing with it. I had a 70mm Bushnell as a kid to look at Halley's Comet with, but never really got into stargazing with it. So many other activities that I was into. Now though, I've finally jumped in with both feet and am having lots of fun. I ended up getting an 8" Starfield Dobsonian and some eyepieces to go with it, as well as a Dwarf 3 to take some photos with. Been trying to find Messier objects on the dark nights and started looking at the moon when it's bright out. Fun fun fun!

Welcome to AB and the hobby Jeremy AB is a great cyber community, don’t overlook your local or regional astronomy club. Enjoy your Dob. I have had many 8” reflectors over the decades, fun telescopes that opened up the night sky to me!

Clear Skies,

Tim
