I have had an old version of skywave for a while now to collimate my ago idk but now with cdk I updated to the newest trial version and I’m having trouble getting ahold of IF for info on what exactly I need. Last time they sent me a model for the idk and I didn’t have to buy the 400-dollar model. I am already considering just buying a license so i can get the full features of it but I’m still unsure about what I need model wise.

Anyone have any insight on what I exactly need for the cdk??

clear skies!!!

I still reccomend you to get in touch with IF. About lack of ersponses, I have been using this Forum and Gaston has been promptly replying all questions.

Dear Anthony,

Since SKW CT version 6 and up, and the launch of the IF portal, the new models are all unlimited (UNL). They are valid for a range of apertures. The model can be linked to a given telescope, PC, and SKW CT licence and unlinked by the user at will using the IF portal and user account.

Here is a link to our documentation for licence and model management, which I recommend reading first. The second link goes to our IF portal login page. If you do not have an account, you can create one to download the new SKW CT installer. Please refer to the first link for the full procedure.
