just got some Askar Color magic filters and had a couple of attempts with an Askar V60 + reducer and ASI2600:

Hey Larry,

Thank you for sharing this and were these OSC filters or Narrow Band with a 2600MM or 2600MC pro camera?

these were the Askar Color Magic E1 & E2 filters (Ha+Oiii & Sii+Oiii) with the ASI2600MCP.

50×240s per filter on an Askar V 60mm with its reducer … post processed in PI, Sii=R, Ha=G, and Oiii=B.

stacked separately, then channel separated, combined the G&B channels from each stack into a single sub and recombined the channels and used “NarrowbandNormalization”…

I cheated a little with the Veil image as I had a Optolong-L Quad stack from a previous night and used the stars from that combined with the nebula…

this was not the case with the heart&soul - I combined and massaged the stars from both stacks, but I think that for accurate star colors a broadband image is desirable.
