I am a rank amateur when it comes to the sky & AP, we all start somewhere, and to that end, I have started with the Seestar S50, just to see if I enjoy it and from some of the threads here it seemed the right place to start.

3 weeks in & I am in a whole new world, quite often down rabbit holes & steep learning curves when it comes to post processing, but I am loving it (although will prefer the nights getting darker earlier if not the colder nights!).

Hi mike and welcome to Astrobin and the wonderful world of AP!
I started about 7 years ago with a cheap mount and unmodified dslr. I had a blast learning every small step.

The SeeStar sounds like a great way to start! So much easier!
Glad to hear that you are having fun!
