NGC 6883 is an open star cluster located in the constellation of Cygnus and is associated with the star Wolf-Rayet (WR) 134, a massive star with very strong stellar winds that expel material, forming a bubble-like nebula or filaments around it. The nebula is shaped like a traced ring, and its brightness is due to ionized hydrogen and oxygen.
A Wolf-Rayet star, which is a type of very massive star, loses mass at a rapid rate through intense stellar winds.
WR 134 is estimated to be about 6,000 light-years away, and the WR 134 nebula has a diameter of more than 50 light-years.
