Mount axes swapped?

Hi,

I am trying to get started with this mount and I am getting more and more the impression that my axes are swapped, meaning that DEC changes actually cause RA changes and vice versa. This happens during three point alignment, where the RA axis should be rotating between frames but in fact DEC is rotating, leading to completely useless alignment information.

I have tried this on an ASIAir as well as NINA, using different connection models. In all cases, adjusting the scope along the E/W axis changes the DEC axis but I would expect it to change the RA axis.

Has anyone experienced that? Also helpful: Can you help me confirm the axis swap: Which axis moves when you press the „slew right“ button on the SynScan App?

Thanks a lot

Just to sum this up. I ended up sending the mount in for repairs. It seems that the axes were indeed swapped on the hardware side.
