Planetary lucky imaging frame analyser

Hi all,

I was thinking which is the most efficient way of analysing the quality (seeing) of an AVI file while out in the field? I know autostakkert can run frame analysis for each video sequence but is it a case of just manually viewing the seeing in each video and choosing the best AVI sequences that way? I'm sure that is something that comes with experience!

I  would recommend running the AVI's through PIPP ( Planetary Imaging PreProcessor ) before feeding them into AS3 for stacking.

Great piece of software that takes the guesswork out of it and speeds things up for stacking.

Tracker reviews may help with equipment setup but don't address video quality analysis.
