Hello.
Test image taken with the SVbony 550 80mm, its 1x flattener, and an Artemis C-Pro. All new. These "smears" appear. Visually, I can't see anything on the lenses, neither the flattener, the tube, nor the camera; they all seem the same size. Any idea why this might be? Thanks.

Those are the shadows of dust particles that are on the camera window or/and a filter if you are using one. Shooting flat frames and properly calibration your images will get rid of this.

Yes, totally normal dust motes.   This may cause you to think you need to clean the objective but you don't, and you don't need to do it often either. and can remove the effects of the dust as Tony wrote.

yeah, it's dust; guessing by the size, they're probably on the camera window, or filter(s) if you use them

flat calibration with good flats will remove them entirely, along with the vignetting

You were right, they were dust specks on the camera sensor. Thanks for the help.
