First time I'm hearing about it. Tried to open the 'learn' video on their website, but there was no active link on that page.

the layout looks cool; I wonder how well the tools work though

edit: wait what, 30,000 people have used this?

edit 2: they actually don't have any free trial for this? that's dumb.

I have a version from a few years back.  I don't know what the cost is today.  On the one hand, the version I have in Photoshop is not bad; however, on the other, as I grew in Pixinsight and Photoshop, it's tools became unimportant to me.  One aspect that bugs me is the 1-2 emails I receive daily from Astropanel, I guess —  Buy this upgrade … A new version available, etc.  I feel as though there's a used car salesman behind it all ….

Why does it say "MORE THAN 30.000 SATISFIED CLIENTS"  and 5 stars but you can't click on the stars to see the reviews? I'm feeling skeptical.

The have the same voltage and frequency on other planets or you have to buy an adapter?

There may indeed be 30,000 "satisfied clients" worldwide, as much (most ??) of its tools are for terrestrial photography.  Even so, I also remain skeptical of their marketing strategies, at least.

I had an earlier version of it. It has some decent tools, but I found I could do the same thing with more control not using it. In the end I didn’t use it for very long.

Without completely copy/pasting my comment from a different forum, and seeing Jay's and ScottF's replies kinda back up my thoughts. I don't think it's a complete scam. You can find the creator on Youtube and Instagram. He's had an APOD. A funny thing is if you dig enough on the website you can find an update from him 7 weeks ago saying lifetime licenses are going away and "only a few left" but they're still available in the shop part right now.

Anyway, my assessment is that I don't think the plug-in offers anything unique, just easier ways to do things. In some cases, like his hot pixel removal  tool, I'd say it probably hurts more than it helps. Sorry about the AI voice, but I've linked to a portion of the video showing the tool off, and just watch the treeline in the upper right as he enables and disables the tool. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZyj6ND0yms&t=668s

Edit: Adding this here. It appears the owner used to post here as well  nearly 10 years ago. And there are some photos (not his) that have older versions of his software listed in the equipment. And looking again even recent versions of it.

You must purchase and attach the optional multi-phasic deframbulator with potentiation protection module attached to the capacitator network to allow operation on Earth.

Good to know. Is it a flux capacitator?

Happy with this scope?
Hi! I’m going to take the plunge into higher reach and is debating whether to get the SCA260 or the RC10 (f6.4 reduced) from Teleskop-Service. The SCA would have about the same F as I’m used to from my Redcat, whereas the RC would be half as fast. Bu...
