how do i understand if the imaging/guiding ratio value is good? for example i tried (via astronomy tools calculator) two possible setups the first is 1:2.18 and the other 1:1.28

are both good or should i change?

I'm not sure what you're asking here. Guiding normally runs the whole time you're taking images so I'm not sure what ratio you're talking about here.

If you mean pixel scale ratio both will be good but I'd plump for the first as it would make fast guiding more likely, should you need to.

Like Andrea said, both are good, you want to be below the 1:5 threshold and both are.
