I've just had a look through the availability of QHY and ZWO products on the Agena Astro site and almost everything is out of stock. I don't know if it's the same on other sites but at Agena a least, it looks like US tariffs are having a effect. I really want a QHY Minicam8 but good luck finding one in the US. The Agena site has this on the product page:

Availability: Sales of this item are currently suspended on our site due to ongoing tariff uncertainties. We do not know when this will be back in stock again or at what price.

For us in the US it seems our money is safe in our pockets for now.

Yes but check HPS's QHY inventory, mostly out of stock.

Agena just announced they have a large order of ZWO products coming in the next day or two. I'll let them know you'll be placing an order.

I believe you might be waiting a bit for the Minicam8.     You could try emailing Bruce at Astrofactors, he's probably out as well- I think he sold em all at NEAF, but he will certainly have fresh stock coming in once QHY ships.

Buy them directly from the manufacturer?

I bought my ToupTek gear directly from them… got here in 7 business days, cheaper than most of the resellers…

It looks like QHY only sells through it's dealer network.

With ZWO, you can not order direct if you are in the USA.  The country is not listed for shipping to.  Its been that way for at least a couple weeks. 
So I expect all dealers are just running out of stock.
I have two items that was ordered in 3rd of April and still waiting.
