Hi All,

I've been imaging SH2-101 The Tulip Nebula for several hours over the past two evenings between 1am & 4am from my back garden in the UK (Bortle 5). After some preliminary processing of the data, I've noticed a faint structure that I couldn't find on other images posted on Astrobin, so I was hoping someone could help identify it. I've blinked through each light frame and can see no anomalies in the area.
  • Acquisition details:
  • Camera: SV405CC
  • Filter: Optilong L-Enhance
  • Scope: Askar APO103

  • Night 1: (2025-05-01) : 69 x 120s exposures
  • Night 2: (2025-05-01) : 78 x 120s exposures

  • Flats x20
  • Dark Flats x20
  • Darks x20

Other stacking, the image below is simple unlinked STF with no additional processing and the structure clearly visible.

Any ideas?
