150i mount won't slew past 49deg dec - Forums

I just bought the 150i and working on learning to use it. First issue is, it won't slew past 49 deg DEC when going from home(N) to any target between N and S on the East side. RA is spot on. It works fine on the West side from N to S.

I have changed every setting I can think of.

Running Nina and green swamp server. I've tried aquireing target using stellarium & framing and just input into sky atlas.
I've deleted and reinstalled green swamp server.

Have you accidentally changed a mount limit in either gas or via synscan app?

I'm not using the synscan app. What is GAS? The only software I'm running is nina and green swamp server as the controller.

I'm sure he means GSS (Green Swamp Server).

NINA itself does nothing but retrieve and send data via GSS, so the only thing that is relevant is GSS and it's settings. Check the limits set in GSS and install the newest Firmware to the mount.
If that doesn't solve it then it's time for a warranty claim.

Apologies, fat thumbs. I meant to type gss for green sky server.
I'm not sure gss has mount limits, so either double check your handset doesn't have any set or get the synscap app on your pc and use it to check.
It's a long shot

Update, it turned out to be a hardware issue. Mount was returned and I received a new one. Working perfectly
