Combining image data with different f ratios

I'm looking for advice suggestions on how to combine data between systems with differing f ratios - in my case specifically f/1.9 with f/7.9.
For example 5 hours at f/1.9 with 10 hours at f/7.9.
Creating a single stack of all data doesn't seem to work well, so the alternative of combining a f/1.9 stack with a f/7.9 stack seems more appropriate.  The question then arises as to how much weight to apply to each stack?

*Assuming we're talking PI here (do we?) make a copy of each and assuming they are properly scaled and aligned then use Imageintegration with Normalization set to Additive with Scaling and Weights set as SNR. Rejection as seen fit.
