Hello
I have had an Edge HD8 for a while but have been waiting for optimization due to clouds of the northeast. I finally had some clear nights and got the focus dialed in, the guiding down to 0.6RMS and everything looked good. I took a full night of M82 as a test. The moon is out and near full but I hoped to have some better results. I am left with a nasty gradient that no gradient removal technique seems to touch, and dust motes that are uncorrected from flats. I think my issues are stemming from internal reflections most likely due to the 0.7x reducer but I wanted to ask the experts. Is it something I am missing? Should I toss the reducer and shoot at f10? If I go the full f10 route any advice on exposure lengths for the 2600MC without any dualband filters?

Thankyou for your help.
