I've had a try once again and this is what I got. Maybe better than last time but I don't know what to do with the noise. Link above includes the stacked file.

I'm not sure what you use to process your data.  You can accomplish decent results with Siril and GraXpert if you don't have access to Photoshop or PixInsight.  GraXpert has a denoise feature now.   Here's a quick result with your data as an example:

only had a quick look. did you take/process flats?  there is a circle around m42 that might be fixed with flats.

having said that, i wish my second attempt at m42 was this good

Focus seems slightly off. I strongly suggest you get a hold SETI Astro’s stand alone editing suite. It’s free and has some very powerful tools that will help your post processing.

Any pixinsight dodgers (like me) need graxpert beta, seti astro suite &  cosmic clarity and gimp. And siril, obviously.

Just FYI I believe Frank ( SETI Astro) launched a stacking capability today. Haven’t checked it out yet.

Just in case you're lost on SETI Astro's site looking for it, here is the suite link:  https://www.setiastro.com/seti-astros-editng-suite
