Starnet leaving artifacts boxes behind

Hi there,

I cannot escape noticing that starnet2 is leaving square boxes in my images.

I noticed it before, but it is more visible now that I am processing mono data. Processingwise, I stack each L, R, G, B,  star align them and crop them. Then, to each layer, I apply Graxprt and BRX (first corr only, then normal run). I then combine R, G and B in linear mode, apply GMT and color calibrate with SPCC before finally removing the stars. At this point, there is no impact in starting by applying the L layer or by stretching everything first. The outcome is the same.

Any hint ?
Is StarX better in this respect ?

Yes, SXT is better in that regards since it takes the scattering with the stars. It happens for overexposed stars more often than not.
