I have an AM5 (original) 
I have never updated the firmware, but see I am 1.3.7 and now there is a 1.6.3

Questions
Anyone done this update?
Was it worth it? What changed/improved/got worse?
Any tutorial on doing this? The info on how to do this seems vague, a real step by step would be awesome. 

I dont have any huge issues with the mount, but I welcome any improvement in guiding/tracking etc. 

Any experience here?

Hello!  I just upgraded and the upgrade took directly from the Asiair.  A couple of weeks ago I tried the hand controller update method found on Youtube & elsewhere and was having a hard time finishing the process.

This time (directly through the Asiair…no hand controller attached) it downloaded and restarted.

I'll advise if I see any major changes.  I've been having a problem for a couple of months now where it's failing its Meridian flip (no probablems throughout much of 2024)…not sure if this will correct it or not.

When you say updated via asiair. Where in the app do you see this option?

Mount - About Mount - Firmware Update (at the bottom).  Mine shows updated now, but it was green yesterday and allowed me to update it.

@Clayton Ostler did this work for you?  I haven't been able to fix my Meridian flip errors...wondered if your update resulted in any bugs?

I wish I could say that I have tried it but I am a bit gun shy, I dont have any current issues, and dont want to introduce anything new.
