Dual camera setup (Mono plus OSC) and HaRGB combination problems

Good evening and happy holidays,
I recently bought a camera with IMX571C to go along with IMX571M.
I own a dual setup that allows me to capture images in parallel with fairly similar resolution (WO GT81 with IMX571C and WO FLT120 with the IMX571M). The first goal was to acquire in Ha with the mono and RGB with the color (obviously). All ok, however the moment I try to combine with LRGBCombination the luminance obtained from the Ha I get a saturated image in which the colors flatten and are unbalanced. I suppose the increased signal from mono introduces an unbalance on the RGB channels obtained from OSC. Can you give me some advice on how to prepare the images before combining? You shouldn't use Ha as a luminance layer 'cause it will flatten everything else, as you have discovered. Blend the Ha with a R channel (via PixelMath) and go for a straight HaRGB or use the NBRGBCombination script.

I combine narrowband data from an OSC camera with a dual band filter with RGB data from a light pollution filter, which isn't too different from what you're trying to accomplish.

I generally followed the method from Paulyman Astro’s video on OSC NB processing. I took the Foraxx result from that processing and used some pixelmath to combine the Foraxx image with the RGB image to taste. You can see the result on my most recent Pacman and Wizard Nebula shots.

There's also a great scripts to accomplish this as well, such as Jurden Terpe's Combine RGB and Narrowband data toolbox script. Depending on your target and desired result, continuum subtraction could be useful as well. There's lots of different ways to do it!
