Hi all,
The goal is to use my two cams (OSC and Mono) to double the exposure time per night. With the ASI 294MC at the 130 PDS I do the RGB stars and with the QHY294MM the luminance and/or narrow band at the 8" f5.
I have the first step, mounting and balance, behind me 😃.
Now comes the hard part. The exact alignment of the image field and (and this is the hardest part i guess) the exact same alignment of the spiders. Otherwise there will be multiple spikes😝.
Of course, this is best done on the star. Unfortunately, the weather forecast gives nix so quickly. In addition, I still have to deal with the control of both cams in NINA.
I am open for any advice.
Cross your fingers for me!
Mike
