My purchase came in a zipped hard shell box, containing the following
Hardware:
At first i did not see any cables, and on the sellers web site there was no information about if the cables were included. It turned out the cables were hidden in the lid of the box. There is a strap to open it, but in my case it was hidden.
Cables:
The cable set includes the following. Some of those cables are very specific cables that look like USB-type C cables, but they're not compatible with USB standards and can easily damage your gear. They are branded with a yellow flag. Never remove that flag, and dont mix these cables with the pool of USB cables you most probably have for charging your phone et cetera.

Important for setting up on a tripod:
You waht to have the possibility to level your tripod head, so the Polaris is set up horizontally. A levelling head is a good idea. However, the knobs of the Polaris can collide with certain mount heads, especially if your tripod has a leveling head which often includes a water level sticking out in radial direction. I found 65 mm diameter gear works fine. Otherwise you might consider using an extention, like the Benro GD3WH-Adapter. If it is not enough to unpark the Polaris before mounting it to the tripod.
Hardware:
- Benro Polaris module, the
- Astro extention, as well as a
- base plate.

- Benro Polaris Chaging cable type USB-C PACB1 USB type C This is a standard USB-C cable. There is no charger in the box, but every 2A Charger will do. The Polaris can be charged during operation
- Benro Polaris Camera Contro Cables (3 different ones) a) USB type-C to USB type-C (PACB2) - this is NOT a standard USB-C cable
- Benro Polars Astro Control cable PACB5 this cable is NOT A USB-C cable at all, even if the connector is an USB-type C plug. You dont want to accidentally use this cable for other purposes than for connecting the Astro module!
b) USB type-C to micro-USB
c) USB type-C to mini-USB
