Hello all.
Hope this is of some help if your struggling to move a medium size rig around as i was.

I've been searching for what seems like forever for a way to roll my Ioptron Mini Tower rig around. It's become very difficult to carry.
I've made enquiries to local carpenters and metal fab shops to see if i could get one made, all to no avail.
So searching Amazon i came across this little Gem. See photo's
It's brilliant and moves along smoothly on flat surfaces. I haven't used it on grass or gravel so can't say how it moves on either.
Tripod points sit on a flat surface not in a hole or indent, I suppose you could do that yourself if you so wished.
The tripod leg is held in place with clamps and holds it very securely. Each arm extends out to  40cm or 15.7" which is more than enough for anyone i would think.
It's metal and heavy duty, Comes in a small zipped carry bag.
Apologies for the bad photo's from my phone.

Interesting unit, in the past I’ve always used 2x6’s to make something like this with either 1/2 or 5/8 threaded rod’s to level the unit. How do you stop the unit from rolling and level it? Appears to have either a hard plastic caster or maybe urethane??? Anyway glad this unit works out for you!

Thanks for sharing!

Hi Dale
The Wheels do lock individually and are hard plastic and turn/roll smoothly.
As for levelling. The Ioptron has 3 levelling pin/bolts between the mount head and tripod base. Makes life so much easier.
It would have been great to have one in wood, Nobody wanted to make it for me. To small a commission
