This is ~8h using the Askar 120 APO with 1x flattener from Bortle 7 skies under a nearly full moon, (ASI2600MC pro). No filters. Any tips to enhance the dust, or am I already stretching too far given this is a faint target and I tried under nearly full moon? will try again from a dark site soon.

You need either far more exposures and/or much darker skies with the same exposure.

You want to shoot a broadband target like this on a moonless night at least from your B7 backyard. Even a dark sight is a bortle 8 with a full moon.

For faint/reflection nebulas I find 2 things help the most:

1. LOTS of integration time
2. Narrowband filters. You have a color camera so take a look a dual/multi band filters. This will also help with light pollution from your B7 skies.

Another factor, especially in B7 conditions, is image when the target is nearly directly overhead. This will help avoid some of the light pollution.
