Last night I went out to take a picture of the full moon with my telescope and brought the az gti mount, but when I plugged in my mount to a power bank ( i checked th output it was 120v) using a 12v 1A chord, it started malfunctioning and when I opened the synscan app and tried to connect it, it wouldn't move at all and the screen that showed how much angular distance was remaining went extremely fast even though it wasn't moving. after that happened I tried just unplugging it and using the batteries but the same thing happened. I hope all that happened was I blue a fuse and no internal circuitry got damaged.

Maybe it's just a typo, I hope that the power bank was actually 12v, not really 120v.
If you powered it with 120v (10x more than expected) you may have blown the whole board.

I don't remember seeing any fuse on the inside

So there was no smoke, but I feel that it’s weird that a power bank would blow up the circuit in a as gti mount considering the most sockets are about the same, but once you add an adapter with a reducer it should work fine.
Can you give us some details on the brand/model of power bank?

Are you sure that the "12v 1A chord" has a reducer inside? It may just be the nominal voltage (i.e. what you are suppose to connect it to)
Also, 120v seems very weird to me for a power bank. Was it a USB power bank or something more sophisticated like a power station?

The power station says that it has an output of 120v and is the powdeom pep-s300

***hello, I just solved the problem yesterday , turns out it wasn’t the hardware but the app on the phone that was malfunctioning, so I just uninstalled and reinstalled it ***
